Synthesis Example 13 1-benzyl-6-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo [2,3-b] quinoline-4-ylamine hydrochloride Phosphorus oxychloride (0.51 ml) was added to a solution of 1-benzyl-2-pyrrolidone (0.84 ml) in chloroform (3 ml). The extract was washed with brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate and then concentrated under reduced pressure to give 5-fluoro-2-{(1-benzyl-2-pyrrolidinylidene) amino} benzonitrile (1.68 g).
