The RP-HPLC determination of Azathioprine and its intermediates (mercaptoprine, 1-methyl-4-nitro-5-chloro imidazole) capsules by using shim-pack CLC_ODS(5μm, 4.6 mm I.D. × 150 mm) column, acetonitrile-water(30:70 V/V) as mobile phase flow rater, 0.8 mL/min and UV 210 nm detector. Good linearity was obtained in the concentration range of 0.05 – 15 mg/L with standard calibration curve of Azathioprine y = 109821x – 2450,r = 0.9999, Mercaptoprine y = 68173x + 2034,r = 0.9998, 1-methyl-4-nitro-5-chlorine-imidazole y = 64438x – 1353,r = 0.9995.
