The residue obtained was purified by combiflash column chromatography [silica gel, 4 g eluting with hexanes/ethyl acetate (1 :0 to 2:1)] to give 4-(l-(2-cyano-l-cyclopentylethyl)-lH- pyrazol-4-yl)pyrrolo[l,2-b]pyridazine-3-carbonitrile 16b (56 mg, 59percent, Rf = 0.42 with hexanes/ethyl acetate = 2:1) as a yellow solid; 1H NMR (300 MHz, OMSO-d6) delta 8.80 (d, J= 0.6 Hz, 1H), 8.48 (s, 1H), 8.31 (s, 1H), 8.19 (t, J= 2.1 Hz, 1H), 7.13 (d, J= 2.0 Hz, 2H), 4.64 (td, J = 9.0, 4.8 Hz, 1H), 3.29 – 3.21 (m, 2H), 2.48 – 2.37 (m, 1H), 1.91 – 1.11 (m, 8H).
