The solution was extracted with EtOAc several times to get the crude product. The crude product was chromatographed with a gradient of hexanes/EtOAc and then with EtOAc, 100% to get the pure final product (800 mg). 1H NMR (500 MHz, acetone-d6, delta in ppm) 7.52 (m, 3H), 7.37 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H), 7.2-7.30 (m, 2H), 6.81 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H), 6.44 (d, J=6 Hz, 1H), 5.42 (m, 1H), 4.5 (br s, 1H), 4.17 (m, 1H) 2.24 (s, 3H)
