The solid was collected, washed with water and dried to give 2-thioxo-2,3-dihydrobenzothiazole-5-carbonitrile 250 mg (99 %).1H NMR (400 MHz, CDCI3): delta 7.53-7.50 (m, 2 H); 7.49 (s, 1 H).
